MCSS SELF-STORAGE CLOSES ON PRIME LOCATION IN THE DORAL SUBMARKET

Miami, FL – April 28, 2016 – MCSS Self Storage LLC (“MCSS”), a developer of urban infill self-storage facilities in South Florida, announced it has closed on the purchase of its ninth development site. The latest acquisition is in proximity to the rapidly growing City of Doral, Doral , Miami-Dade County, Florida for an undisclosed amount. The site is strategically positioned close to the northeast corner of the intersection of the Palmetto Expressway & NW 36th Street, the gateway to Doral, Florida. The property will be visible to 200,000 cars per day. With the acquisition of this prime site, the company is on track to develop their goal of 20 urban infill self storage projects South Florida.

In addition to the most recent purchase, MCSS is developing several locations throughout Miami-Dade, Broward County and Palm Beach Counties including those near SoLēMia, Coconut Grove, City of Miami, Miami-Dade County, Sweetwater, Doral, Pembroke Pines, Pembroke Park, Davie and Fort Lauderdale.

The new self-storage facility will provide clean, safe and secure storage with leading edge technology, architectural design and customer friendly features. The West Airport project will be approximately 85,000 net rentable square feet with 1,139 climate-controlled storage units. CubeSmart will manage the facility.

Self-storage is a growing industry that generated $24 billion in revenues in 2013, according to the Self-Storage Association (SSA) and is forecast to reach $30 billion in revenues by 2019, according to IBIS World.
